PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN KEWARGANEGARAAN MENGGUNAKAN TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE KELAS V

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimanakah peningkatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya. Metodepenelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bersifatkolaboratif.Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tigasiklus yangterdiridaritahap perencanaan,pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi.Teknik pengumpulan data adalah teknik observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share yaitu siklus I 68.3%, siklus II 74.1%, dan siklus III 86.1%. Dengandemikian, model kooperatif tipe Think Pair Sharedapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa.

Abstract:. The purpose of this research was to describe how the improvement of students"™ activities in Civic Education Learning isby using Think-Pair-Share cooperative model to the fifth grade students of Government Primary School 15 in Sungai Raya, Kubu Raya. The method was descriptive in form of collaborative classroom action research. The Research was carried out in three cycles consist of planning; implementation; observation; and data collection and reflection stages.The datacollection technique was direct observation and documentation.As the result, activity student by using Think-Pair-Share cooperative model at the first, second, and third cycle is 68.3%; 74.1%; and86.1% respectively. Thus, the Think-Pair-Share cooperative model can improve the students"™ activity.
