Abstract
Based on the early observation that found on grade V students in SD Negeri 28 Pontianak Utara, students learning outcomes are still low because of lack of teachers knowledge about the method of learning mathematics. The observation method that used are descriptive with classroom action research.Subject for the research are the 38 grade V students in SD Negeri 28 Pontianak Utara. Data that has been collected in this research are the students learning activity. Technique for the data collection used the direct observation technique meanwhile data collection tools used observation sheet.Students learning activity in learning Mathematics with applying Advance organizer learning models to students in SD Negeri 28 Pontianak Utara, as follows : The Students that are active in doing physical activity on the 1st cycle are 69.73%, on the 2nd cycle are 93.41%, students that are active in doing mental activity on the 1st cycle are 61.83%,on the 2nd cycle 90.78%, Students that are active in doing emotional activity on the 1st cycle are 49.99%,on the 2nd cycle are 80.25%.The statements above are shown the learning activity of grade V students in SD Negeri 28 Pontianak Utara that used the model of learning mathematics with Advance organizer having an enchancement.
