Abstract

This research intended to describe the effect of cooperative learning model picture and picture techniques to students"™ achievement in social science learning to the class III at SDN 04 Tebas. The method that writer applied in this research is quasy experimental method which the writer conducting two classes; one class was for control group, and the other class was for experimental group. The data were calculated and the result showed that mean score of the control group students"™ was 76,5 and mean score of the exsperimental group students"™ was 88,86. Then, t-test (3,79) was higher than t-table (2,027). So, there were differences of students"™ achievement in experimental group and control group. The result of effect size was 1,006 whice considered high. It mean that there was effect of cooperative learning model picture and picture techniques to students"™ achievement in social science learning to the class III at SDN 04 Tebas.
