PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

Abstract: The implementation to cooperative learning model jigsaw type. Jigsaw application is a model learning to increase the activity and student learning outcomes. This research is a class act, before the implementation of the action showed there’re only 9 students whose active or only 30% from the number of students, and the learning outcomes achieved mastery value of only 12 students or only reached 40%. after the implementation of the first cycle of implementation of cooperative model jigsaw type, student activity is increased to 12 people, this means there’s an increase from 30% to 40% of the number of all students. And there’s also an increase for learning outcomes from the total 12 people to 20 people or, up from 40% to 66.66%. because they have not achieved the performance indicator criteria, then followed by second cycle. the level of student activity increased to 20 students, from 40% to 66.66% for the implementation of the action of the second cycle. after the implementation of the second cycle of the action reaches a predetermined performance indicators,the learning outcomes of students also increased, from a complete 20 or 66.66%, to 26 people or 86.66%. thus it can be said that, with the implementation of cooperative learning model jigsaw type can increase the activity and student learning outcomes.

Abstrak: Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe jigsaw untuk meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil belajar siswa “Apakah dengan penerapan model pembelajaran tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas, sebelum pelaksanaan tindakan menunjukkan siswa yang aktif hanya 9 orang siswa atau hanya 30 % dari jumlah siswa, dan hasil belajar yang mencapai nilai ketuntasan hanya 12 orang siswa atau hanya tercapai 40 %. Setelah pelaksanaan siklus I penerapan model kooperatif tipe jigsaw aktivitas siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu  menjadi 12 orang, ini berarti terjadi peningkatan dari 30 % menjadi 40 % dari jumlah siswa. Dan untuk hasil belajar juga terjadi peningkatan dari  yang tuntas 12 orang menjadi 20 orang atau, naik dari 40 % menjadi 66,66 %. Karena belum mencapai kriteria indikator kinerja, maka dilanjutkan dengan siklus ke 2. Pada pelaksanaan tindakan siklus 2, tingkat aktivitas siswa meningkat lagi menjadi  20 orang siswa, yaitu naik dari 40 % menjadi 66,66 %. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa juga terjadi peningkatan, yaitu dari yang tuntas 20 orang atau 66,66 % meningkat menjadi  26 orang atau 86,66 %. Setelah pelaksanaan siklus ke 2 hasil tindakan mencapai indikator kinerja yang telah ditetapkan. Maka dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa ; “Dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif  tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.
