Abstract

Aim of this research is to determine the effect of Teaching With Analogy (TWA) model to remediate student mistakes   in resolving direct-current electrical circuit problems. The research was pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design. 36 students in a class as a sample was choosen by intact group over 4 classes at first grade in senior high school. The result show that student mistake in resolving direct current electrical circuit problems after using TWA model reduced by 29%. This research also discover that TWA model has effect to reduce student mistakes to resolve direct-current electrical circuit problems (z = 9,06; p< 0,05). Hopefully, this research can be a reference to remediate student mistakes in reduce direct-current electrical circuit.
