PELAKSANAAN KOMPETENSI SOSIAL GURU SOSIOLOGI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X IPS 2 DI SMA NEGERI 1

Abstract

The title of this study is "Implementation of social competence of sociology teacher in improving student"™s learning interest of class X IPS 2 in SMA Negeri 1 Sui Raya".   The common problem of this study was Implementation of social competence of sociology teacher in improving student"™s learning interest with sub-issues were(1) how sociology teacher communicate effectively in improving student"™s learning interest (2) how sociology teacher communicate empathetically   in improving student"™s learning interest (3). how sociology teacher communicate courteously in improving student"™s learning interest. The method used was qualitative method with descriptive analysis. The results was showed (1) The teacher has communicated effectively and the student"™s interest shows a great pleasure in following the lesson, shows the attention of the attention to the material submitted, the interest of the foreign term used by the teacher, the involvement in the learning thar students give answer when the teacher ask question. (2) The teacher has been communicate empathetically well and the students interest show attention to the responses, advice provided by the teacher. (3) Teacher has been courteously communicating and students interest show concern for the reprimands given by the teacher.
