PENGARUH MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE TSTS TERHADAP AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATERI TATA NAMA SENYAWA

Abstract
This aims of this study were to determine whether there was a significant difference of student activities and student achievement, and to determine how much influence of Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) technique of cooperative learning model toward student achievement on material nomenclature compounds. This study used quasy experimental research with the non-equivalent control group design. The sample of this reseach were X IPA 2 as experimental class which taught using TSTS technique of cooperative learning model and X IPA 1 as control class which taught using conventional method. Achievement test, observasion sheet, and interview guidelines were used as the research instrument. According to U-Mann Whitney test toward student aktivities data, there was a significant difference of student activities between those classes (Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,003). According to independent-t test toward student achievement data, there was a significant difference of student achievement between those classes (Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,003). Learning using Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) technique of cooperative learning model on material nomenclature compounds class X IPA of Senior High School Taruna Bumi Khatulistiwa gave 31,33% effect on improving student achievement.
