This thesis is titled "People's Effort Of Aquiring Additional Income To Fulfill Necessities Of Life ( Case Study Of Rubber Farmer In Tubang Jaya Village Of Boyan Tanjung District Of Kapuas Hulu Regency ) year 2017. The general problem in this research is "How efforts made by rubber farmers in the village of Tubang Jaya to increase income to meet the needs of life". The focus of the research is " the efforts of rubber farmers to seek additional income to meet the needs of life". The method used is descriptive method with qualitative approach. Primary data sources obtained by researchers directly through interviews with rubber farmers of 8 informants. Sources of secondary data obtained by researchers from Kaur Village Development Tubang Jaya and government documents Tubang Jaya village. Data collection techniques consist of observations, interviews, and documents. Observation guide data collection tool, interview guide and note sheet. Data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and decision making and verification. Testing the validity of data using triangulation of sources and techniques. The results showed (1)   The economic condition of the rubber farming community in the village of Tubang Jaya for now is very concerning it all in because the price of rubber latex that plummeted. (2) Income from rubber tapping for now is not enough to meet the needs of rubber farming families in the village of Tubang Jaya. (3) Factors that affect the income of rubber farmers in Tubang Jaya village are the most important is the price, weather, Infrastructure and types of seeds are in use.   (4) Efforts to increase income by doing side jobs such as farming, raising cattle, fish ponds, becoming laborers, opening small stalls, and becoming rice grinders.
