Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to describe the use of dakon number to improve student learning outcomes in learning mathematics class IV State Elementary School 14 River Kunyit. The method used in this research is descriptive method. This study was conducted two cycles per cycle of two meetings. The results obtained are: (a) teachers' ability to plan first cycle lesson first meeting average 3.21, first cycle of second meeting average 3.50, second cycle of first meeting average 3,62, second cycle meeting to an average of 3.88. (B) the teacher's ability to conduct the first meeting of the first cycle of learning averaged 3.13, the first cycle of the second meeting averaged 3.58, the second cycle of the first meeting averaged 3.71, the second cycle of the second average meeting 3.75. (C) the learning outcomes for students from the first cycle of the first meeting averaged 50.74, the first cycle of the second meeting average meeting 66.30, the second cycle of the first meeting averaging 77.04, the second cycle of the second meeting averaging 90 , 00. This indicates that the use of number dakon can improve the learning outcomes of fourth graders of the State Elementary School 14 Sungai Kunyit.  Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Mathematics, Dakon Numbers
