PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN INTERPERSONAL MAHASISWA PADA HIMPUNAN MAHASISWA FKIP UNIVERSITAS TANJUNGPUR

Abstract

Student organization is an extracurricular activity that can be taken to support student academic activities on campus. This research entitled "The Influence of Leadership on Interpersonal Skills of students on the student Organization of Fkip Tanjungpura University". General problem in this research is how the influence of leadership on the interpersonal skill of the students on student organization. The method used in this study is a non-experimental method with associative research that used quantitative approach. Variable in this research is leadership and interpersonal skill. This study was conducted to 177 samples from 465 student population who are incorporated in the organizational structure of student organization in period 2016/2017. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis using simple linear regression. The results of data analysis, show that R value is 0.608 and R Square is 0.379. Its mean that interpersonal skills are influenced by leadership by 37%, the rest is explained by another cause. t test results show that t > t table, or 10,342 > 1,960. Its means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant positive influence of leadership on the interpersonal skills of students on the student Organization of Fkip Tanjungpura University.
