PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MELALUI MODEL GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING PADA MATERI HIDROLISIS GARAM

Abstract

                                                           Abstrack

The background of this research is the low of activity and students"™s learning outcome so that teacher wish to increase the learning procces in class. The aim of this research were to increase the activity and students"™ learning outcomes in salt hydrolysis material through guided discovery learning model. The method of this research was classroom action research (CAR) which being done in two cycles. Each learning cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection The subject of this research was 20 students of eleventh grade IPA MAS Khulafaur Rasyidin. The data from each cycle were collected through test, observation, and interview. The result of the research showed that the application of the guided discovery learning model can increased the percentage of students"™ learning activity from 60% in cycle I becomes 70% in cycle II. The percentage of mastery learning  increased  from 55% in cycle I becomes 70% in cycle II. The result of this research proved that there was an increasement in students"™ activity and learning outcome on salt hydrolysis material and reached the success indicator.
