Abstract

Abstract

This research aimed to descripting students asking activity in a math learning for nine"™s grade students in The Second Muhammadiyah Junior High School, Pontianak. The method that used for this research are Descriptive Method in Survey Research Form. The Subject for this research are fifty five students of  nine"™s grade students in The Second Muhammadiyah Junior High School, Pontianak. The results showed that the asking written or unwritten activity is majority low. From the asking result, it is known that the asking written activity of students"™amount score is 130 questions and the asking unwritten activity of students"™amount score is 89 questions. This is proven from the result of data analysis of each student questions indicator, those are number of questions, questions about the lessons and questions cognitive level. Based on those 3 indicators, student asking activity by using unwritten questions is considered low but student asking activity by using written questions is considered good.
