This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of multirepresentasi to reduce the number of students who make mistakes in solving Newton law problem in class X SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak. The research design is one group pretest-posttest design and research instrument using a limited description test each consisting of 4 items. The sample numbered 29 students with intact group sampling technique (whole group). The results showed that there was an average decrease in the percentage of the number of students who were wrong in solving the problem by 43.50% with the level of moderate effectiveness. Multirepresentation teaching can be used as an alternative to re-educate learners who make mistakes in solving limited description problems especially on Newton's legal material.
