Abstrack: The purpose of this study is the description of social values related to the relationship between man and God, human and human, to develop the implementation of social values teaching in Indonesian language learning in high school. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with content analysis approach. The result of the research is viewed from the social values of the relationship between man and God, namely: 1) Faith in God's Book, 2) Forbearance, 3) Tawakal, 4) Penance, and 5) Rida. Viewed from the relationship between man and man are: 1) brotherly love, 2) love, 3) life view, 4) perseverance, 5) hard work, 6) losing, 7) consensus, 8) selflessness, 9) awareness , 10) Cheating, and 11) Meditations. The results of this study is expected to be used by teachers of Indonesian language and literature in teaching the appreciation of literature at the level of high school / MA class X. Students should in reading the collection of short stories DMBB Kuntowijoyo attention to the positive values contained, in order to become the basis for students to apply it in the environment school.
