Abstract

Competence of each teacher is a benchmark of the success of a lesson. This study discusses the pedagogical competence of art and culture teachers in the learning of music art, so this research can describe the competence of teachers in understanding the needs of learners, designing the learning plan, the implementation of teaching and learning activities, carry out evaluation, contained in SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu raya, This research uses descriptive method with case study form, while the technic used is observation, interview, and documentation study, the data obtained then analyzed using data analysis technique, that is data reduction, data presentation, the result of this research stated art teacher at SMA kemala bhayangkari 1, fulfilling pedagogic competence in learning. It is hoped this research can increase pedagogic competence of art and culture teacher in SMA Kemala Bhayangkari 1.
