Abstract

The perception of learners is a process that involves the entry of messages or information into the human brain refers to the stimuli of sensory organs, sight, hearing, feeling, and smell that can affect the learner learners against something. The learner perceptions of career counseling need to be known with the consideration that learners are the main target of the program and counseling provided by the school. So that can be done some appropriate adjustments for this career guidance received an interesting appreciation by learners. This research would like to see the perception of class VII students in SMPN 6 Pontianak to career guidance services provided by guidance and counseling teachers. The general problem of this study is "How is the perception of learners to career guidance services class VII SMPN 6 Pontianak?". This study aims to determine the perceptions of learners on career guidance services. The method used is descriptive method with quantitative approach with survey research form. The sample of this study were 32 students. The results of data analysis show that the perception of learners to career guidance services category "Good" with percentage 81.59%. Based on the results of the above research can be concluded that some students in class VII in SMPN 6 Pontianak students perceptions of career guidance services is good.
