PENGARUH PEMBERIAN BEASISWA YAYASAN BUMI KHATULISTIWA (YBK) TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR MAHASISWA UNTAN

Abstract

This research is entitled the influence of Yayasan Bumi Khatulistiwa (YBK) Scholarship towards UNTAN students' learning motivation and is aimed to know how it influenced and how significant is the influence towards UNTAN students' learning motivation. This is a descriptive interrelationship study.   The population of this study is YBK scholarship awardees batch 2014 to 2017 which is 37 students in total. Data were collected through indirect communication technique using a questionnare and   documentary photographs were attached. The result of data analysis in this study shows a simple regression equation: Y '= 17,381 + 1,263x which means if YBK scholarhip is 0 (zero), the learning motivation is positive by 17,381 and every decrease of YBK Scholarship is 1 (one), the learning motivation will also decrease by 1,263. The result of determination coefficient is 0,238 which means YBK Scholarship adds influence 23,8% of UNTAN students' learning motivation and it falls into low category of influence.
