Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in students' physical, mental, and emotional activity in learning Citizenship Education using Student Teams Achievement Division in class V of Sungai Raya State Primary School 1 in Kabupaten Kubu Raya. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The sample of this study was 35 students. The results showed that the physical activity of students from 20.65% that appeared on the base line to be 87.69% in cycle II increased by 67.04% in the high category. In the mental activity of 4.76% that appeared on the base line to 46.67% in the second cycle increased by 41.91% with a fairly high category. In emotional activity, from 47.86%, which appeared on the base line to 88.57% in cycle II increased by 40.71% with a high enough category. This shows that the activity of students in learning Civics Education has increased by using the Student Teams Achievement Division.
