PENERAPAN METODE EKSPERIMEN MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN ILMU PENGETAHUAN ALAM KELAS II SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 28 GASING

Abstract

The use of experimental methods to study Natural Sciences class II State Elementary School 28 Gasing. The research goal is to improve students' learning activities using experimental methods to study Natural Sciences class II SDN 28 Gasing. Form used was survey research (survey studies) with type Classroom Action Research (Classroom Action Research). Observation of a start as that was done, the learning activity is dominated by the teacher. This study was conducted for 2 cycles with the final results obtained by the physical activity ranging from base line to the second cycle in a row is 36%, 52.8%, and 86.4%. Mental activity ranging from the base line to the second cycle in a row is 25.8%, 57.7% and 83.2%. Emotional activity ranging from base line to the second cycle is 40.8%, 62.4% and 64%. From the data that has been obtained it can be concluded there was an increase in the cycle.

Abstrak: Penggunaan metode eksperimen pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam kelas II Sekolah Dasar Negeri 28 Gasing. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa menggunakan metode eksperimen pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam kelas II SDN 28 Gasing. Bentuk Penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei (survey studies) dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research). Sebagai pengematan awal yang telah dilakukan, aktivitas dalam pembelajaran didominasi oleh guru. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 2 siklus dengan hasil akhir yang diperoleh yaitu aktivitas fisik mulai dari base line sampai siklus II secara berturut-turut yaitu 36%, 52,8%, dan 86,4%. Aktivitas mental mulai dari base line sampai siklus II berturut-turut yaitu 25,8%, 57,7% dan 83,2%. Aktivitas emosional mulai dari base line sampai siklus II yaitu 40,8%, 62,4%  dan 64%. Dari data yang telah diperoleh dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan pada siklus.
