Abstract
This research was motivated by the difficulty of Indonesian language teachers in learning to write poetry based on the 2013 curriculum in class X Santun Untan High School Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The form of research used is qualitative and quantitative. The aim is to find out whether the teacher has implemented poetry writing learning based on the signs in the 2013 curriculum in terms of planning, implementation, and evaluation conducted by the teacher and students whether it is in accordance with the prescribed guidelines. Data collection is done through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the data analysis showed that the learning implementation plan (RPP) formulated by the teacher in the first and second meetings in learning to write poetry had reflected 2013 curriculum-based learning. The implementation of learning in the first and second meetings consisted of preliminary activities, core and conclusions carried out according to the signs 2013 curriculum. Evaluations conducted by teachers at the first and second meetings have included an assessment of three domains covering the realm of attitudes, knowledge and skills.
