Abstract
This research aimed to explore information about student"™s learning style, student"™s mathematical communication ability, and factors that influenced mathematical communication in student"™s learning style of seventh grade students in sets subject matter at junior high school. The method of this research was descriptive in form of case study. Subject of this research was VII B class at SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kubu Raya and the object of this research was mathematical communication ability that was investigated based on student"™s learning style in sets subject matter. The result of this research showed that learning style of VII B class were diverger, converger, and accommodator. Student"™s mathematical communication ability of diverger learning style showed that only one of four students that achieved the indicator of 1a. Student"™s mathematical communication ability of converger learning style showed that there only one of four students that achieved the indicator of 2a. Student"™s mathematical communication ability of accommodator learning style showed that there only two of twelve students achieved the indicator of 1a and only one student achieved the indicator of 2. It can be concluded that student"™s mathematical communication ability of each learning style are relative to equal, which is mean as not achieved the indicator of mathematical communication.
