Abstract

The title of  thesis is the Role of Community Leaders in Faradje Culture 'in the Young Generation in Kapuas District, Sanggau Regency. The general problem of this research is how is the role of community leaders in Faradje culture at the younger generation. The sub-problems in this study were (1) How Community Leaders Role as Motivators in Faradje Culture ', (2) How the Role of Community Leaders As Guidance in Faradje Culture'. The general purpose of this study is to describe the role of community leaders in Faradje 'Culture in the Young Generation in Kapuas District, Sanggau Regency, while the specific objectives of this research are (1) To identify the role of community leaders as motivators in Faradje' culture in the generation young. (2) To identify the role of community leaders as a guide to the younger generation in Faradje culture. The form of research used in this study is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation studies, while data collection tools are observation guides, interview guides, and documentation studies. Research results (1) community leaders carry out their role as a person who is able to provide constructive motivations. Motivation given by community leaders by way of delivering orally and giving examples directly. (2). Community leaders have a role to provide guidance to the younger generation to become a person who has a cultural spirit. When discussing Faradje Culture, of course there are also community leaders who are involved in it with their respective roles.
