Abstract
Morphology is a branch of linguistics that discusses the intricacies of word formation. Researchers focus research on the part of the branch of morphology namely morpheme. This study aims to describe terms, morpheme forms, lexical meanings of morphemes, and grammatical meanings of morphemes found in the Dayak Kantuk language of Seberuang District. Researchers used descriptive research methods and qualitative research forms. The source of the data in this study is the Dayak Kantuk language speech in the form of morphemes spoken by several informants. The data in this study is morpheme. The technique carried out by researchers in collecting data in the field is competent involvement techniques, interview techniques, recording techniques, and note taking techniques. Researchers managed to collect 542 forms of morphemes found in the Dayak Kantuk language in the Seberuang District. The entire data consists of 298 free morpheme forms and 244 bound morpheme forms. The 298 morem forms are free of 61 free morpheme forms which include verb classes, 142 including nouns, 71 including adjectives, 8 including adverbials, 10 including numerals, and 6 including pronominal. The 244 bound morpheme consists of 190 prefixes, 18 infixes, 28 simulfiks, and 8 confixes.Keywords: Morphology, Morpheme, Dayak Kantuk Language
