Abstract

The problem by this study is whether demonstration and reciprocal learning methods can have a significant influence on the results of dribble learning in basketball games, and which learning model is better used between demonstration learning methods and reciprocal learning methods in the results of dribble learning in basketball games ..The population in this study was class VIII students. Which is taken as a population of all eighth grade students SMPN 6 Pontianak with 220 students. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling, which amounted to 60 students. The research method used was a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design method. Data analysis was done by computerization and analysis using the t-test.Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there is an influence between the demonstration and reciprocal learning applied to basketball dribble learning. In the demonstration class with the difference in the pretest and posttest values of 70.67%, and in the reciprocal class with the difference in the pretest and posttest values of 41.73%. Based on the results of the t-test obtained in demonstration class t count > t table (16,12 > 2,045) then Ho is rejected (Ha accepted), based on the results of the t-test obtained in reciprocal class t count > t table (9,8 > 2,045) then Ho is rejected (Ha accepted). Meaning that there is influence before and after being treated.
