This study aims to describe the permissive upbringing of parents towards adolescents who have a habit of playing online games during school hours. The research method used is descriptive research method using qualitative forms with direct communication research techniques and documentary studies which include observation techniques, interview techniques and documentation techniques. Based on the results of the study, the factors that cause adolescents to play online games during school hours are parents 'upbringing, namely permissive upbringing, namely the lack of parents' role in caring for their children, namely the lack of love from parents and lack of communication. who do not give a warning or strict rules to their children. The aspect of permissive upbringing is raised from the factor of lack of parental involvement in giving attention to children. Thus, children feel free to do something that is not good because parents do not mind the condition of children's habits in playing online games.
