Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) learning models on material fractional operations at VII grade students of SMP Panca Setya 1 Sintang. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection tools used in the form of teacher observation sheets in managing learning, observation sheets of student learning activities, student response questionnaires and student learning outcomes tests. The results of analysi  observation of  managing learning in data show very good category, student learning activities in the very active category with a percentage of 89%, student learning outcomes with an average score of 81.25, and student responses to learning are very positive category and in a range of scores of 71%.
