Abstract

Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine the feasibility and the readability of teaching material suplement on saponification. The form of this study was research and development (R&D) that adopted Borg & Gall model. The subject of this study was a teaching material suplement   which tested on nine undergraduate students of Chemistry Education FKIP Untan. The result of data processing showed that the teaching material suplement was very feasible (88,22%) including of content (88%), presentation (87%), linguistic (85,3%), and graphic aspects (90,83%). Based on undergraduate student"™s response questionnaire, the result was 85,87%. This data showed that undergraduate student"™s response to the textbook suplement on saponification material was classified as very good category.
