Ability that someone has to be able to get along and interact with other people called communication skills. As social beings, communicating is a must for humans. Therefore, the aims of this research was to know more deeply about student communication skills ppl bk fkip untan Pontianak in 2018. Problem in this study was "how are student communication skills ppl bk fkip untan in 2018". Method used was a descriptive method with the form of study survey research. The study population was 68 students ppl bk fkip untan pontianak in 2018. This study used a quantitative approach. The data collection technique of this research was indirect communication techniques with a data collection tool questionnaire. Data analysis technique used  percentage calculation. Based on the results of data analysis of student communication skills ppl bk fkip untan pontianak in 2018 the was categorized with     63% with "medium" category.
