Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of penerapkan approach CTL in learning ipa of the results of student learning grade 5 SDN 38 Pontianak North. Methods used namely the experimental methods.   Population this research was even all students grade 5 public primary schools 38 pontianak north.   The technique used in the selection of samples is nonprobality sampling with a type of positive sampling. The sample in this study was a VA class of 20 students. The data collection technique used was a measurement technique and a data collection tool in the form of an objective written test. The results of the analysis of the experimental class post-test and control class were 78, and 5 68.09. The t-test calculation is obtained by tcount 7.1189 and ttable (α = 5% and dk = 32 + 32 - 2 = 62) of 1.6883, because thitung (7.1189)> ttabel (1.688), then Ha is accepted. The effect size calculation results are 0.84 yen including high criteria. In other words there was a high influence of the application of the CTL approach to make a high difference from the learning outcomes of Grade 5 to 38 North Indian science students.
