Abstract

Abstract

This classroom action research was motivated by the low value and ability of students to write rhymes properly and correctly. In this study, the authors examined the ability of class VII students at Darul Anwar Al-Hikam M.Ts. with a total of 26 students.The research method used a qualitative descriptive method. The data sources of this study were grade VII students, Teacher, and the results of writing rhymes for class VII students. The results obtained from this study include: learning process planning in the first cycle that is equal to 70,59% (sufficient) in the second cycle increased by 19,11% to 89,70% (good). The results of the implementation in the first cycle were 52,5% (sufficient) in the second cycle which increased by 30% to 82,5% (good). The results of writing rhymes students of class VII experienced a good increase, from the before-cycle average value obtained by students amounted to 58,5. The results of writing rhymes in cycle I increased with the average value obtained by students by 70. In the second cycle the increase continues to occur, the average value obtained by students is 78,46.  Keywords: ARIAS Learning Model, Rhyme, Rhyming Card, Writing Skills.
