ANALISIS SEMIOTIK KULTURAL PANTUN NASIHAT MELAYU SAMBAS

This research is motivated by culture in the rhyme which wais an old literature that developed in the wasSambas Malay People. The method used in this study was descriptive method, with the form of qualitative research, and uses a semiotic approach. The sources of data in this study were speakers of rhyme and rhyme spoken by speakers while the data in this study are all types of icons, indices, and symbols on pantun advice. The data collection techniques in this study were two, namely interview techniques and recording techniques. The tools used to collect data were recording devices (cellphones and cameras), notebooks, and stationery.Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that there were 47 cultural data, cultural indices and cultural symbols. A lot of Sambas Malay advice based on icons, indices and symbols, namely about culture in the form of beliefs, arts, and various processed foods.
