Current development brings both positive and negative impacts to people. Every individual should be able to balance current development by self-empowering in religion, morality, society, and culture. Educational values in novel are important to shape people to be proper. This research is descriptive and qualitative with the technique of documentary. In this research, there are four educational values, which are spiritual value, moral value, social value and cultural value. Spiritual values comprise of always remembering God and being thankful of His grace, and the attitude of submitting and seeking protection to God. Moral values comprise of honesty, wisdom, avoidance of free sex, respect for human dignity, law compliance, and also fairness. Social values comprise of friendship, kinship, and love and compassion to others. Cultural values comprise of the ability to symbolize ethnics or regions, culture that is able to be learned by people in society, culture inherited to next generation, and also culture that is selective and potraying experience and behavior patterns of humans. The results of this research are able to be used in novel learning. The researcher composes the lesson plan with cooperative model type Numbered Head Together (NHT).
