Abstract
This research aimed to investigate the effect of singing method to students"™ learning motivations. This research method was pre-experimental study with the design of one group pre-test and post-test. The population was gathered from student at TK Kristen Immanuel II. To limit the number of samples, the researcher applied cluster random sampling which resulted in investigating B3 Class. There were two times of observation to obtain the students"™ learning motivation. They are O1 observation for pre-test data and O2 for post-test data. In pre-test, the students"™ learning motivations achieved averagely 14,94, where the number was included in the category of moderate learning motivation, while the average posttest (after treatment) obtained an average value of 20.55, included in the category of high learning motivation. The pre-test and post-test were then in t-test formula with paired sample t-test to calculate the imfluence. The result showed that t-observe > t-table with df n-1 (38-1) (12.405 > 2.0261). It indicated that singing method imflunce the students"™ learning motivations during the experimental treatment. The calculation of effect size resulted 2,014>1,00 which means the impact of singing method is categorized high. The application of singing methods at class B TK Kristen Immanuel II Sungai Raya has a significant effect on learning motivation.
