PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR PADA PEBELAJARAN IPA MENGGUNAKAN METODE EKSPERIMEN DI KELAS V

Abstract

Problem the research is the application of the experimental method in the study of Natural Sciences on the material properties of light can increase the activity of students of class V Elementary School District 16 Pontianak City. Study is a form of action research. In the first cycle, the average activity of 16.66% and asked the sikulus II increased to 33.33%. Activities answering students in the first cycle of 33.33% and the second cycle increased to 41.66%, the activity of the students responding to the learning process first cycle of 3.33% and the second cycle remained 3.33%. In other words occur in the application of the experimental method in the Natural Sciences learning the material properties of light can increase the activity of students of class V Elementary School District 16 Pontianak City. The result is expected to be considered or referral in science teaching in primary schools, especially for teachers who teach science in fifth grade elementary school

Abstrak: masalah penelitiannya adalah Apakah penerapan metode eksperimen dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada materi sifat cahaya  dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pontianak Kota. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Pada siklus I rata rata aktivitas bertanya sebesar 16.66% dan pada sikulus II meningkat menjadi 33,33%. Aktivitas menjawab siswa pada siklus I sebesar 33,33% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 41,66%, aktivitas menanggapi proses pembelajaran pada siswa siklus I sebesar 3,33% dan pada siklus II tetap 3,33%. Dengan kata lain terjadi peningkaan  aktivitas siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam pada materi sifat cahaya  dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 16 Pontianak Kota. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan atau rujukan dalam pembelajaran IPA di SD , khususnya bagi guru yang mengajarkan IPA di kelas V sekolah dasar
