PEMANFAATAN VIDEO DALAM MATERI GEJALA ALAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR DI SD

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian in bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media video untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi gejala alam dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas VI SDN 21 Pontianak Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Hasil analisis data aktivitas fisik siklus I 69,00% meningkat menjadi 84,00% pada siklus II dan meningkat lagi 6,00% menjadi 90,00% di siklus III. Pada aktivitas mental rata-rata siklus I 41,67% meningkat menjadi 58,33% pada siklus II dan meningkat menjadi 78,33% di siklus III. Aktivitas emosional siklus I 56,67% meningkat menjadi 81,67% pada siklus II dan meningkat menjadi 93,33% di siklus III. Hasil belajar siklus I rata-ratanya 84,00 meningkat menjadi 95,75 pada siklus II dan meningkat menjadi 96,13% pada siklus III. Berdasarkan data analisis aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik, menunjukkan bahwa dengan memanfaatkan media video dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstrack: The objective of research is to describe the advantages of video as a media to increase both of the students’ activity and learning outcomes for natural phenomena material in Science at grade VI SDN 21 Pontianak Barat. The research method is descriptive. The result of data analysis for physical activity in the first cycle is about 69,00% then increase to 84,00% in the second cycle. And go up 6% to 90% in the third cycle. The average of students mental activity in the first cycle is 41,67% and increase to 58,33% in the second cycle thein go up to 78,33% in the third cycle. The average of emotional activity for the first cycle is 56,67% then increase to 81,67% in the second cycle and go up to 93,33% in the third cycle. The average of learning outcomes’ in the firs cycle is 84,00%, increase to 95,75% in the second cycle and go up to 96,13% for the third cycle. Based on data analysis of students’ activity and learning outcomes’, it indicates that the use of video as a media is able to increase the students’ activity and learning outcomes.
