Abstract

This study aimed to determine the feasibility of the booklet submaterial structure and function of plant tissue with additional information about transpiration which was used as a learning medium. The research method used was descriptive. The validators were divided into two, namely the validator to validate the instrument and the validator to validate the booklet media. The instrument validator consisted of two Biology Education lecturers and one high school class XI biology subject teacher. The booklet media validator consisted of 2 Biology Education lecturers and 3 high school class XI biology subject teachers who implemented the 2013 curriculum. The results of the booklet media validation analysis obtained a CVI average of 0.99 classified as valid. Therefore, the booklet media based on the results of research on measuring the rate of transpiration in six monocotyledonous plants was feasible to be used in the learning process in the structure and function of the XI class of high school plant structures.
