PENGARUH MEDIA KOMIK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR DAN RESPON SISWA SMK PADA MATERI LARUTAN ELEKTROLIT

Abstract
This research aimed to find out if there was diffrences in the improvement of students"™ achievement between students who were taught using comic as the media and the ones who were taught using textbook, in cooperative learning of "˜Think Pair Share"™ type in the lesson material of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution in eleventh grade of SMK Gloria, Tikalong. The sample of this research were 43 students. Purposive sampling was used in determining the experiment and controlled classes. The instrument used in this research were a test in form of essay, questionnaire and interview guidelines. Based on Mann Whitney U-test of significant level 5%, it was found that Z score (-3.48) < Z of table (-1.96). This showed that there was a difference in the improvement of students"™ achievement between controlled and experiment classes. The improvement of students"™ achievement was in harmony with students"™ responses to chemistry learning using media of comic. The result of questionnaire analysis on students"™ responses about media of comic, showed that the students gave positive response significantly 86.67%.
