Abstract

This study aims to analyze the presence or absence of the influence of the NHT model and analyze how much influence the NHT has on fraction learning outcomes of class IV SDN 31 Pontianak students. This study uses an experimental method in the form of Quasi Experimental Design type nonequivalent group design. Class IV student population consists of 67, sampling using purposive sampling techniques, namely class IVA and class IVB. The technique used is measurement with a data collection tool that is used in the form of written test essays. Data analysis obtained the average post-test results of students in the control class 81.81 and the average results of post-test students in the experimental class 85.30 there was an increase in applying the NHT model. After t test was obtained tcount 1.985 while ttable with db = 35 + 32-2 = 65 and a significant level (α) = 5% 1.670, it turns out tcount 1.985 1,6 t table 1.670 there are differences in the application of the NHT model. Effect size calculation results, obtained ES 0.36 with moderate criteria. The implementation of NHT has a moderate effect on fraction learning outcomes of class IV SDN 31 Pontianak.
