DESKRIPSI PENGINTEGRASIAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER PADA PEMBELAJARAN KIMIA DI SMA NEGERI SE-KOTA PONTIANAK

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hambatan pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter pada pembelajaran kimia di SMA Negeri se-kota Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Delapan orang guru kimia kelas X di delapan SMA negeri yang berbeda menjadi sampel penelitian. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa silabus dan RPP guru, catatan hasil pengamatan pembelajaran di kelas dan hasil wawancara terhadap guru. Hasil analisis silabus dan RPP menunjukkan bahwa guru tidak melengkapi rencanaan pembelajaran dengan indikator pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter, tetapi pelaksanaan pembelajaran kimia oleh guru di setiap SMA Negeri se-kota Pontianak telah mengintegrasikan muatan nilai budaya dan karakter bangsa melalui kegiatan pembelajaran serta pemberian muatan nilai budaya dan karakter bangsa melalui substansi materi kimia yang dipaparkan guru. Hambatan pengintegrasian pendidikasn karakter yang dihadapi guru adalah beban kerja yang cukup besar dan sistem penilaian karakter yang dianggap rumit serta kurangnya pemahaman guru terhadap pengintegrasian pendidikan karakter.

Abstract: The aim of this research is to get a description about planning, implementing, and obstructing of the integration of character education on chemistry learning in all public high schools in Pontianak. Method of this research is description with qualitative approach. There were eight teachers who become the sample. These teachers teach first grade in senior high school. Data that were collected consist of syllabus and RPP, the result of observation in learning process in classroom and the result of interview. Based on the analysis, it showed that syllabus and RPP which are used by teachers were not completed with integration of character education indicator, but all of teachers taught with character education which is included by learning activity and explanation of the materials of chemistry learning. The obstructions of character education which are faced by all of teachers are the tasks that were  abundant and the evaluation which is completed and also some teachers did not understand about character education in learning chemistry.
