This study aimed to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament learning model on learning outcomes of class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak in geography learning. The form of research used was quasi experimental with nonequivalent control group design. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling with class X IPS 1 as the experiment and X IPS 4 as the control class. Data collection techniques in this study are direct measurement and observation. The data collection tool used was a test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice tests and observation sheets. Student learning outcomes were analyzed by using the Independent Sample T Test for normally distributed data and the Mann-Whitney test for data that were not normally distributed. The results of the analysis show that there are differences in student learning outcomes who are taught by applying the Teams Games Tournament learning model with students who are taught using conventional learning. Learning by applying the Teams Games Tournament learning model has a high influence on the learning outcomes of class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Pontianak with an effect size value of 0.98.
