Abstract

This research aimed to find out the factors that affect labor productivity in chips production called Kripik Barokah by the Community Activity Unit (UKM) in Tujuh Belas District of Bengkayang Regency. This research was conducted based on the number of products that monthly decreased in a year. This study was a survey research using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data sources in this study were six workers in Kripik Barokah UKM. Research data was collected through interviews, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and verification, or concluding. Research data is validated using time triangulation and observation sheets. The findings showed that safe work environment factors, motivating factors, and work discipline factors at Kripik Barokah UKM had a significant influence on the workforces in improving productivity. Besides, the salary was one factor that did not have a notable effect on the level of labor productivity.
