Abstract

Abstract The problem of this research is how the influence of audio visual media on student learning outcomes in learning citizenship education in public elementary schools 03 Karimunting. the goal is to analyze the Audio Visual Influence. The method used is an experiment with a Quaisy Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population was 48 students, the research sample was 24 students of class III B as the control class and 24 students of class III C as the experimental class. The technique used is the measurement technique and the data collection tool is a multiple choice written test. The average posttest result of the experimental class is 77.75 and the average post-test control is 72.5. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test (Polled Variance) t count = 2.366 for dk (24 + 24 - 2 = 46) with a significant level α = 5% t table = 1.680, meaning t count> t table, then Ha is accepted, this proves there is an influence of Audio Visual in Citizenship Education learning. Based on the results of the calculation of the effect size (ES) ES = 0.53 which is included in the moderate criteria. It can be concluded that using Audio Visual Media has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of grade III students of SDN 03 Karimunting.
