NILAI MORAL DALAM NOVEL SITAYANA KARYA COK SAWITRI

Abstract This research is motivated by the researcher's desire to find moral values in the novel Sitayana Karya Cok Sawitri. This study reveals four sub-problems, namely the moral value seen from the individual's relationship with God, the individual's relationship with himself, the moral value seen from the individual's relationship with the community, and the implementation plan for literature learning in schools. The results of this study are (1) moral values seen from the individual's relationship with God, namely (praying, surrendering and believing in God's hands) (2) Moral values are seen from the individual's relationship with oneself, namely (honest, responsible, passionate and have a strong desire) (3) moral values seen from the individual's relationship with society, namely (a sense of kinship, deliberation and helping out). The results of this study can be used for learning in XII grade high school schools on basic competencies 3.3 Analyzing historical story texts, news, advertisements, editorial / opinion, and fictional stories in novels either through oral or written, Indicator 3.3.1 Reveals the steps to analyze fictional story text.
