Abstract

This research is aimed to determine student productive disposition in terms of students' ability in solving story problems on the comparison material in Mts Negeri 1 Pontianak. The research method used was descriptive with a typical study research form. The sample of this research were students of class VII MTs Negeri 1 Pontianak which were taken as many as 4 students who have high ability in solving story questions and 4 students with low ability in solving story questions. Data collection techniques used in this study was test questions, questionnaires and interviews. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 for windows. The results of the questionnaire show that students who have high productive disposition students have high productive disposition, while students who have low ability to solve story questions where 1 student has high productive disposition, 2 medium students and 1 low student.
