This thesis is entitled Analysis of the Existence of Traditional Herbal Seller in Teladan Alley, Kota Baru Village, South Pontianak District. The general problem in this research is what are the factors of the existence of traditional herbal medicine sellers in the exemplary alley of Kota Baru sub-district, South Pontianak sub-district, with the sub-problems, namely (1) What are the internal factors for the existence of traditional herbal medicine sellers in the exemplary alleys of Kota Baru Village, South Pontianak District? (2) What are the external factors for the existence of traditional herbal medicine sellers in the exemplary alleys of Kota Baru Village, South Pontianak District? .The results of this study indicate that there are internal factors and external factors in the existence of traditional herbal medicine sellers in the Teladan Alley, Kotabaru Village, South Pontianak District. Internal factors in the existence of traditional herbal medicine are inherited from the ancestors and encourage the family economy. External Factors in the Existence of Traditional Herbal Medicine, there is Public Trust in Traditional Herbal Medicine, the price is popular, the side effects of herbal medicine are not as harsh as chemical drugs, competition in marketing herbal medicine.
