PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN LEARNING CYCLE PADA MATERI SISTEM PERIODIK UNSUR TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle pada materi sistem periodik unsur dan besarnya pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem periodik unsur. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah “Non Randomize Control Group Pretest Postest Design”. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji U-Man Whitney. Hasil data menunjukan terdapat perbedaan motivasi dan hasil belajar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle dengan siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle. Pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 22,91%.

Abstract: Aims of this research were to determine the differences of motivation and learning outcomes between students who were taught by using the Learning Cycle’s model and students who were taught without using Learning Cycle’s model on the periodic table. The influence of using the Learning Cycle’s model to the learning outcomes. The method of this research was quasi-experiment and the design of research was “Non Randomize Control Group Pretest-Postest Design”. Data were analyzed using U-Man Whitney test. The result showed there were differences of motivation and learning outcomes between students who were taught by the Learning Cycle’s model and students who were taught without the Learning Cycle’s model. The use of Learning Cycle gave influence 22,91% to the improvement of learning outcomes.
