Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: economic literacy of economics students. Consumption behavior of economics students. The effect of economic literacy on consumption behavior of economist students of FEB UNTAN. This research uses quantitative approach. The population is students of Economics with a sample size of 58 students and data collection methods using questionnaire distributed to students of economics FEB UNTAN via google form. The results showed: Economic literacy of science students Economy is categorized as high with an average value of 72.93%, Consumption behavior of regular A students of economics categorized as very high with a percentage of 86.92%. The effect of economic literacy on the consumption behavior of students of economics Regular A batch 2018 with simple linear regression equation, Y = 3.333 + 0.383X. Literacy effect coefficient economics towards the consumption behavior of economics students FEB UNTAN is proven from T test results with t count 3.333> t table 2.003, which means rejecting Ho and Ha accepted. The coefficient of determination of 0.584 indicates that economic literacy has an effect the significance of 58.4% on the consumption behavior of students of economics at FEB UNTAN and the remaining 41.6% is influenced by other variables.
