PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF THINK TALK WRITE MATERI LUAS PERMUKAAN KUBUS KELAS VIII SMP

Abstract This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Think Talk Write cooperative learning model on the surface area of the cube. The method used in this research was experimental method and pre-experimental research with one shot case study design. Aspects used to determine the effectiveness of learning, types of learning implementation, student activities and student learning outcomes.The data collection techniques used were measuring and observation sheets. The data collection tool used was a student learning outcome test which contained 2 description questions, an observation sheet for the implementation of learning and a student activity observation sheet. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the teacher had the ability to manage learning by applying the Think Talk Write model of 3.19 in the good category, the percentage of student activity is 73% which classified as active, students cannot achieve learning completeness, namely 13 individual completeness. students or 52% which mean classical completeness was not fulfilled. So it can be concluded that learning that applied the Think Talk Write model is not effective to be applied to the surface area of the cube in class VIII SMP Keyword: Cooperative Type of Think Talk Write Model, Effectiveness of Learning, The Surface Area of the Cube.Published
