Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study aims to determine the introduction of cultural diversity in children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten in Sungai Raya District. The research method used is a quantitative method with descriptive research type. The subjects in this study were Kindergarten teachers for class B in Sungai Raya District with a total sampling technique. The tool used to collect data was a questionnaire. The results showed that the introduction of cultural diversity in children aged 5-6 years in Kindergartens throughout the Raya River was in the bad category with a percentage of 56.5%. The introduction of ethnic diversity in children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten in Sungai Raya Regency is overall in the good category with a percentage of 43.5%. The introduction of the diversity of traditional clothing among children aged 5-6 years in Kindergartens throughout Sungai Raya Regency as a whole is in the poor category with a percentage of 56.5%. The introduction of the diversity of typical foods to children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten in Sungai Raya District is in the poor category as a whole with a percentage of 64.5%, meaning that sometimes the teacher only introduces the diversity of typical foods to children.
