ANALISIS PERAN IBU PETANI KARET DALAM UPAYA MENUNJANG PENDIDIKAN ANAK DI DESA TEMPATAN KECAMATAN SEBAWI

Abstract

Abstract

The research was to find out the role of rubber farmer mother as a facilitator for child
education, the role of the mother as the beneficiary to provide child education, and the role
of the mother as a guide to provide child education in Tempatan village Sebawi sub-district
Sambas regency Kalimantan Barat province. The study was included in qualitative
descriptive research. It has been intended to investigate a situation as it is based on data
collected. Data collection was done with observation techniques, interviews and
documentations. The data sources used were primary data sources and secondary data in
qualitative research where the main data sources in qualitative research were words and
actions, for the additional data used such as documents and so forth. Data processing and
analysis tehniques was done through the three stages of (1) Data reduction, (2) Data
presentation and, (3) Deducation. The results of this study suggest that the role of mothers
who work as rubb farmers has a major impact on child education, from scouting facilities to
children, offering assistance to children, and directing children to study.
